Is this the 'Hand of God'? Photographer captures astonishing cloud in Kent

This astounding footage demonstrates a massive 'hand-formed' cloud punching through the sky in Kent on Monday.

Picture taker David Christie, 38, was at home with his wife Jodie, 37, when he saw the clench hand like wind channel structure.

The father-of-two couldn't accept his eyes and concedes that he has never seen anything like this previously.

He said: "It truly did would appear that the Hand of God.

"It looked as through there was a colossal hand penetrating through the mists - it was marvelous.

"I cherish climate photography and I've taken a couple of pictures of little wind channels previously.

"In any case this was something else."

Mr Christie is currently wanting to venture to the far corners of the planet to catch more ponders of nature, despite the fact that he concedes that it will be difficult to top this picture from the place where he grew up.

He said: "I've for the longest time been itching to do storm pursuing in the US.

"A portion of the things you see over yonder are unimaginable however this was an exceptionally surreal experience.

"I'm so happy I chose to catch it on feature."

This is not the first occasion when that a religious figure has showed up in the sky.

A week ago a photo of a dusk in Norfolk seemed to catch a God-like unshaven face looking through the mists.
